They are SOOOOOOO expensive there.

If they are still quarantining before shipping fish out, it's worth the extra cost in my book. I QT every fish I bring in, but I also appreciate the vendor doing it.

@IHOctopus, I have ordered from Aquabid sellers on several occasions, have gotten great healthy fish every time. You aren't limited to the "auction" format--most sellers there have a website or you can just email them and say "Can I have six male lime green endlers?" if you see they are selling trios of endlers, but you don't want females, for example.

I order online all the time. Aqua bid is one of my favorite place to buy from. Shipping is the hard part. I offer several shipping options and most sellers will if asked. I prefer 2 day delivery but 2-4 day priority mail works great for most fish. Flat rate med box shipping is under$15. I think 2 day rangess from $30 to about $60 and overnight is $40-$120. I shipped overnight from south Florida to Chicago and it was $81 last week. USPS has the lowest shipping cost most of the time. I normally have no issues on eBay either. If there is a problem eBay backs the buyer about 90% of the time so I view it as a pretty safe place to buy. I have had the most issues with commercial sellers way more than aqua bid and eBay where it’s a lot of hobbiest and smaller commercial operations. Try looking here as well. I have gotten fish from members and been very happy.
