The Finnex Stingray 2 light is way too bright for a tank that shallow, so put some giant duckweed in it, put two layers of tracing paper over the light and am doing a siesta during the day. It’s been about a month, and I’m going to have to back the light down from 8 hrs/day to six, because I noticed the tiniest bit of BBA starting. <insert eye roll here>. Tactical Error Posted December 5, 2022 Author Share Posted December 5, 2022 I’m leaving it long. Whenever I’ve trimmed it in the past, the leaves die back and are pretty unsightly.
