Thank you!   The 20L is the in person that’s a struggle.   The Finnex Stingray 2 light is way too bright for a tank that shallow, so put some giant duckweed in it, put two layers of tracing paper over the light and am doing a siesta during the day.   It’s been about a month, and I’m going to have to back the light down from 8 hrs/day to six, because I noticed the tiniest bit of BBA starting.   <insert eye roll here>.  So, I’m back to tinkering with it!

Tank looks great.  Do you want to leave the val long like that or do you plan to trim it?

I’m leaving it long.   Whenever I’ve trimmed it in the past, the leaves die back and are pretty unsightly.   And the tank is tall, so leaving it long kind of gives the tank a ‘ceiling’, if you will.
