Compatibility

What’s up everybody, just a quick question, can angelfish live with red lizard whiptails and would they both be able to breed effectively in the same tank, or would one predate on the fry or eggs etc?

I don’t see any problems with compatibility, the whiptails will act as dither fish.

Just provide plenty of caves.

I would say the catfish might egg the angelfish eggs but other than that they will be fine together

My L010s are super calm/peaceful typically angelfish breed a bit higher/out of range of where the red lizards like to hang out. Also assuming you got the angels to spawn they would chase them away. The l010s spawn in caves so the angels can't get to their eggs. In my opinion you are fine just get adequate cover for the L010s they love to hide.

thank you, I appreciate the feedback, I think I’m going to give it a try, I haven’t gotten my whiptails to spawn yet and have been actively trying but I also have 2 angelfish which I believe have or are opposite gender that I have wanted to move somewhere else to conserve tank space.
