gogomarigo
Should I quarantine fish and use the medicine trio even if I buy fish from Aquarium Co-op...? I know they already use these medications on fish so wasn’t sure if doing so would be overload on the fish. thanks!
KBOzzie59
I never treat fish from the coop unless they show symptoms in quarantine. Yes quarantine. Knocking on wood, I've never had to treat coop fish. Edited October 27, 2020 by KBOzzie59

ange
If time isn't a concern, I'd suggest you try giving fish a 1-2 week active observation period when you first bring them home. If they show symptoms of any illness, treat that. If at the end of the observation period they show no symptoms, I hit them with Paracleanse (one round of Paracleanse won't kill 100% of the organisms as it doesn't kill all life stages). I run a level 1 dosage of aquarium salt for the remainder of the quarantine period.
