David Retired LEO
I have tiny white worms on my substrate and glass. They come out when I feed and then disappear into the substrate. Detritus Worms? Not sure they are tiny. I never see them swimming just hanging out on substrate and glass. They don't show well on pictures

OutBout
Could be detritus worms. Overfeeding can cause a population boom. Try feeding smaller amounts or less frequently. Also could be flatworms. Do these worms crawl/glide over the surface? Do they have triangular heads with eye spots? David Retired LEO
So I feed once a day. Less or every other day? I did post a picture. They don't move much. They kind of wiggle. I can't make out a head at all.
anitstuk
Yeah I think it's detritus but no need to worry, they are harmless 1
David Retired LEO
Thank you! There are soooo many and they are as big as the fry in the tank 😆
Gannon
I also think these are just detritus worms. Fish will eat them and theyre harmless anyways.
David Retired LEO
Thank you. It's a heavily planted tank. I was going to pull out the plants and gravel vac the heck out of it. Instead, I will cut back on feeding and see what happens. Thanks a bunch.
