Stella
I am currently setting up a 55 gallon, and am unsure of how many of each fish I should get. Ideally I would like to have: Angelfish (I LOVE angels) Harlequin Rasboras Some species of Corydora (I'm open to suggestions) I already have a bristlenose Pleco that I'd like to go in there as well if possible. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
anitstuk
This is what you should stock your tank with: 2 or 3 AngelFish 10 or 12 Harlequin Rasboras 5 Panda Corys and your BN Pleco. If your tank seems to be over stocked, take one AngelFish out but beside that, it should be fine.
Friller
Before we can give stocking ideas, we need filtration. Sponge filters would be best for that size tank, one of a larger size, I like to run two in my 60gallon tanks. 1-3 angels would be fine depending on the type. Remember angles can get aggressive. Harlequin rasboras at least 6. Corys really depend on what you want. If you want some larger species you could go with some smaller Brochis like Emeralds, or if you want colour you could go with Sterbai, Panda, Bronze/Albinos and Venezuelans Be careful with the small species like pygmies and Hastatus as angles can eat them Edited August 11, 2022 by Friller
