jasper5150
Walked by my betta tank and saw my mystery snail with a couple things on it I haven’t seen before. Any ideas? Edited July 20, 2022 by jasper5150 Misspelling
Chick-In-Of-TheSea
Couple questions - Types of plants in the tank? (Do any plants or moss have foliage similar to what you see on the snail?) Any other critters besides the betta? How long have you had the snail? What is the snail's diet? Tagging @Guppysnail also.
Guppysnail
The one top right is an air bubble with some excess slime. Look for egg clutches there is white in the slime. I can almost bet there is a clutch hiding in there above water line. The one on the left is poo. Looks like it ate something with red coloration. Nothing to worry about. Be prepared to see lots of both 🤗 Edited July 20, 2022 by Guppysnail 1
Chick-In-Of-TheSea
Here is an example of a mystery snail egg clutch. See anything like this on the bottom of your lid or around the rim of your tank?

I'll add for informational purposes, that the snails can grab air out of the water and expel it at will to control their buoyancy. It's really cool to see.
