Canadian Discus
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has double stacked their sponge filters vertically to make more room in their tank? If so, did you experience any negative effects on the function of the filters? Thank you
Beardedbillygoat1975
Nope works well. I liked it better with a power head then air but it still worked well.
Canadian Discus
Ty. I’ve been debating stacking them but wasn’t sure if it would reduce their suction/function in my discus tank.
Odd Duck
Seems to be working fine in all my taller tanks. Mine are running on air right now but the option of powerhead is always there. I plan on flipping some on their heads at some point with a minor mod to a fairly standard riverine set up at some point, but that’s a good ways in the future. Canadian Discus
Ty. I’ll give it a go 😊. I will be running air as well..my discus don’t like too much water movement.
