new food question

[SC Fish]

started using tropical tabs by aquacare for my minnow and platy tank, they love it! (its a little snack for them once a week) but whenever i give them this the platys are hogging it, even when i cut it in half and put them seperately

What species are your “minnows”? Are the tabs like Sera ones that stick on the side? Or do they sink like algae wafers?

I suggest cutting in half, and placing one half in until Platys hog it, then put the other half as near as possible to your other species somewhere else in the tank. This approach worked for us with Sera Tabs.
