Karen B.
In the midst of moving aquariums, acclimating shrimps and being the most forgetful person on earth, I did not plug back my betta heater and filter. So the poor fish had to live in a tank that reached 68f when its temperature is usually 10 degree higher. Should I do a water change to speed up the heating process? I am afraid that might shock him. He is swimming around and seems ok for now. He has his same usual behavior too. But To make matter worst, yesterday was his fasting day. Anything I should or shouldn’t do? Will he be ok? Brian
No, just let the heater bring temp up slowly. Should be fine. Good Luck
