When I got my 55 I did a large species tank (20+ of a one type) with corydoras and a lot of nice plants. Cories are the best! I recommend them. I love my 55. 55 and 75 are the perfect sizes, I think, for people who aren't able to keep the larger tanks but want a nice big display. 75 gives a little more room for bigger fish but my smallish apartment spoke up and 55 it was.
