DavidR
This year has passed me by but I want to start planning early for a tub or two next year. I plan to purchase one of the 100 gallon Rubbermaid tubs within a week or two. I'd like to set this tub up away from my home a bit. I was thinking of running a couple of Coop sponge filters. The problem I have is power for my USB pump. Is there an alternative pump that I can use or a way to power this pump? I'd like to be able to keep it running even when exposed to the weather. Any thoughts here on how to waterproof the connections? I've seen Cory run these mini USB pumps in his outdoor pumps, just curious how he is doing it. Candi
You could always place the USB in a Tupperware type container, that would protect the pump from weather/water damage. Don't send your wife after me if you take her good stuff. 😉
DavidR
Great idea, thanks Candi. BTW: "good stuff" in regards to Tupperware reminds me of my mother. LOL Edited October 14, 2020 by DavidR
