If you trim Anubis leaves will the rhyzome replace them in place or do they only add leaves to the front. I have one with some rough looking leaves on the "butt" end. They add leaves to the front, mostly, but the rhizome will sometimes fork. If the rhizome gets injured it can trigger a fork or trigger leaves to erupt behind the damage (at the butt end). If the rhizome gets fully cut it will usually trigger branching of the butt but may still not get leaves from the old rhizome, just on the new branches. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
