Bev C Posted February 25, 2022 Share Posted February 25, 2022 (edited) i need to check my phosphates in my freshwater tank and bought APi phosphates test kit the Exp date says it is still good but it stays the same color no mater after 3 tries .. I had to stop using APi nitrates test kit due to it always staying blood red … i have switched to Aquarium coop strips for my nitrates testing Is there a good phosphates tester for freshwater besides Api i saw Fluval had a test kit hfor phosphates anyone used that kit .. or is there a good digital tester to use for phosphates like they have for ph Thank you for any info and help Edited February 25, 2022 by Bev C Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mmiller2001 Posted February 25, 2022 Share Posted February 25, 2022 I've found that all test kits have to be calibrated and it's the only way to make sure they provide good information. But Sera and Salifert come to mind. I know the Salifert only goes to 2ppm. You'd have to look into Sera.
