justice5552
Is anyone able to tell me what you think is wrong with my little Masturbetta's fins? Is it fin rot? I treated the tank as if it were but nothing seems to have improved. I do small weekly water changes, change the filter once a month and even took a sample of the water in and got it tested and everything’s fine. His fins just look nothing like they used to and the one at the top is all dried up and weird. Maybe it's hereditary, idk? We both thank you in advance for your help! Colu
What I would do is monitor for now and add some Indian almond leaves as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties you need to add 1 leaf per gallon to get a beneficial effect as it could be the start of Fin rot if you notice his fin start to recede or develope holes then I would add some aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons for one
justice5552
OMGoodness, thank you SO much. I will do that. :)) So, the leaves I just ordered are 6"-9" big. Is that the standard size? My tank is 8 gallons. Edited February 23, 2022 by justice5552
BAT
I have put big leaves in my 10 gallon. I find that my betta likes to build bubble nests with the bigger leaves. I suppose if when floating they block light for plants you could break them in half.
