Hello, I have had my two freshwater tanks for 6mo now. I perform 20% weekly water changes and it seems like all of the sudden-out of the blue my tanks are both under algae attack. About two weeks ago I finally tried using an Algae Remover liquid called "Aqueon Algae Remover" but it almost seems to be making it worse. I am assuming they are Diatoms? I would be grateful for insight to help me get this back to normal. ❤️

OMGoodness, thank you SO much. I will do that. :)) So, the leaves I just ordered are 6"-9" big. Is that the standard size? My tank is 8 gallons.

Is anyone able to tell me what you think is wrong with my little Masturbetta's fins? Is it fin rot? I treated the tank as if it were but nothing seems to have improved. I do small weekly water changes, change the filter once a month and even took a sample of the water in and got it tested and everything’s fine. His fins just look nothing like they used to and the one at the top is all dried up and weird. Maybe it's hereditary, idk? We both thank you in advance for your help!
