Sexing EB jack dempseys

Hello! I was hoping for some assistance in sexing my electric blue jack dempsys. When I look at each fish independently I'm inclined to think theyre both male, but when i compare them like this the larger fish's anal fin is SO much longer. This picture doesn't even really do it justice they just weren't cooperative this morning. Any help is appreciated

I’ve not looked for the pics on how to do it since my Jacks aren’t EB’s and they’re very easy to tell, but everything I’ve heard or read says you must check vents to sex EB Jacks.  I’m sure there’s pictures on line showing the difference between the male and female EB Jack vents.
