jwcarlson
I put everyone in quarantine Sunday and dosed with all three of the "med trio". Didn't notice ich until this AM. Have plenty of meds to redose. No activated carbon in the tank. Should I redose Ich-X? Change water and redose everything? No other fish have it so far except the rummy nose. And it looks like all of them have it. Thanks for looking! Edited January 20, 2022 by jwcarlson
Colu
I would do a water change and just treat with ick x treat for three days after you see the last visible spots
MyFish
Check out ick lifecycle. Don’t know if if was on aquarium coop or another site. But it will go through steps to eradicate them. water changes will help; just be sure to add declorinated water at ph 7. -increasing temp will speed OCH life cycle. -aquarium salt will help. Cory has a nice YouTube video on this topic. Edited January 19, 2022 by MyFish
Chad
Yeah, what others are saying. While early, I'd personally say the med trio has run it's course and now it's time to water change and do a full treatment of Ich-X. Perservere and be patient, I had to treat Ich-X with three separate treatments to rid my tank completely once. But it did work.
jwcarlson
Says every 24 at least or sooner. 12 hours works pretty well for me, I can do a quick change in the morning and redose. Would anyone suggest that or just wait 24?
jwcarlson
Ich looked worse last night, much better this morning. Another WC and Ich-X dose. Not sure if this is particularly hard on corys. Had a dead one this morning (figured he would die eventually as he looked rough coming from store). Hopefully this is behind me here in a few days.
