Should i use methyl blue ?

As discussed  about my fish who has red gills and is flashing …i doubted that he has gill flukes … To improve tank filtration i brought a live plant and methyl blue. I found that i can use methyl blue for these diseases so i thought i should but i need advice .

Methylene blue can kill your benefial bacterial I would only use it in bath if your have ammonia or nitirtes I would do small daily water changes and add a double dose of prime to detoxify any nitrites or ammonia to your levels go to zero
