Mya
I have ventured out into the aquarium soil and drift wood. Any tips for cleaning as during siphoning the soil get sucked into siphoning. I appreciate any suggestions
Fish Folk
I rarely siphon substrate much anymore. I just water change frequently depending on the aquarium purpose and set up.

Fish Folk
With Ich, it's hard, because the tomites do tend to hold up in the substrate. Yeah, I gravel vac with Ich. But generally, no, I don't gravel vac at all. The mulm build up is fine for plants and entire eco system. I just keep life-filled, planted tanks. Wow!your tanks are amazing! My angel has a bump on her and I'm so sad, I thought I had the ick with temp and water changes but it appears not. I will order ick-x but will not be here till Monday. I have loaches and plants si treating is a bit challenging as I can't use salt and the loaches are not fi d of treatment.

Can you show more photographs, or a video?

I'm not sure if it is. I spotted a couple with ick on fins turned up temp gradually for a month to 85 when I decreased temp gradually I spotted ick on a different angel and the koi were getting aggressive as they paired up so hard to say. I have been watching all closer and they are fighting each other and the one with sore on side seems to be a female as the koi is protective of her. They were both ganging up on the other koi till yesterday when the mark appeared
