DigDug
Good Evening Everyone, I heard good things about Tertra Safestart plus in the past, so i gave it a try on my new tank. When i poured it in, it almost look like I poured in Adult Brine Shrimp. Is this normal?
PineSong
I have not used it, so hopefully someone who has will chime in. I saw a video on Youtube of someone using it and it did look like it made the water cloudy, but the focus wasn't up close enough to see if it looked like actual stuff in the tank. Do you have fish in the tank?
xXInkedPhoenixX
Not sure if that's normal but I've had good experiences usually when emailing the manufacturer directly. Typically they respond within a day. I've not used a Tetra product but I have seen some "safe starting" bacteria bottles do similar things just not chunks, mostly clouding water a little and it goes away fairly quickly. Flumpweesel
I used some bottled bacteria a long time ago ( I think Tetra) it came free with the tank. Anyway if my fading memory serves yes its kinda cloudy and bitty which makes sense if you think about what a bacteria bloom looks like. It should be fine. Pizzafan
Yes it is super white and cloudy and May coat everything with white crud. It will clear up!
