ThomasLC
So if I wanted to build my own tank, and I mean the tank itself. What kind of glass do I ask for? What vendor do I seek out? Where would I find the spacers they use to keep the panels from touching?
Scapexghost
Depends on the size of the tank. The bigger the tank, the stronger it'll have to be. What size do you have in mind?
StevesFishTanks
It may be easier to do a diy tank using acrylic
HotTunaCartel
Just finished a tank about two months ago. Lots of info online regarding glass thickness and height/length of the tank. You could probably go to your local glass shop and ask, I ended up disassembling and cutting down another tank I had that was leaking Not sure what you mean by spacers, you would just run a bead of sealant on the bottom and put the sides over it and then tape the sides so it stays while it bonds and dries.
