GHT x NPT If you dont care about the hose you can also just cut off the thread end and install it on the barb with a hose clamp. If you are talking about installing a hose on the intake side of the pump I dont think thats possible unless there is a threaded section hidden inside the cage. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guppysnail Posted October 21, 2021 Share Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) I just did this. I bought some inexpensive pond tubing from Amazon. Hit it with a hair dryer and shoved it on. It shrinks when it cools to seal. I also bought a push on ball stop valve cut the tubing and inserted so I had an on off.
