Catching Wild Fish in Backyard Stream: Darters, Sculpins, ???

Excited to possibly have solved the Darter I.D. for the fish in our backyard -- I think these are Tessellated Darters (Etheostoma olmstedi). Far as I know, I may have just updated our Maryland State Biodiversity Project with the first record in our County for the fish (woo-woo!)

What's so cool is that we caught an adult and fry yesterday.

Today, we caught another one -- despite the 101-degree Fahrenheit afternoon temperature. The Mountain Run water is reasonably cool compared to the high temps.
