There is no such thing as a “no light plant”.  Except for artificial.

Low light? Yes.  No light? Nope.

if you want to mitigate heat, use low wattage LED’s and place them further away from the surface.  

The plants that require the least light are Anubias, Java Fern, Java Moss & Crypts.

There are lots of ways to reduce tank temps.  One of the best is to create a DIY heat exchanger.

Get a cheap 10 gallon plastic tub, fill it with water, mount a fan perpendicular to the waters surface, blowing air across the top.  Siphon tank water into the plastic “sump” you’ve created, and add a small circulating pump to return the water to the tank.

I guarantee you will reduce the tank temps by at least 10-15 degrees.
