Keep working on it! This is how we all have to start.

Try to make the room dark so that you or your camera are not visible.

Top your water off above the rim so that light doesn't bleed out through the glass above.

Have lighting directed down into the aquarium front, so that fish are well illuminated. Cover over the light if it bleeds out of the top.

Try to set the camera on something to steady it. A tripod is best, but in a pinch a chair or stool can make do.
