Patrick M. Bodega Aquatics
Hello! A couple of days ago one of my female betas jumped out of its aquarium and I wasn't sure how long it had been out until I found it. Surprisingly it survived but is slowly getting weaker. She has some scale die off, fin damage and is having a hard time staying upright. After the incident she immediately began eating but since then she has lost her apatite. I am pretty sure it's a lost cause but just wondering if anyone had any meds or anything else that you'd recommend.
Maggie
First off, I'm sorry to hear this and hope your lovely (I assume since they all are) betta survives. I would use aquarium salt as a first treatment. If nothing else it is supposed to help reduce stress. I think the low dose is 1 TBS per 3 gallons. Good luck! Patrick M. Bodega Aquatics
Thank you! Just finished medicating. I had some on hand but wasn't sure to use it or not. Thanks again!
