Hello from Oklahoma! My name is Bethany, I’m new to the hobby, but already addicted! I started out with 5 gallon tank with a betta, then got a 10 gallon with some danios, then added a 30 gallon to my collection with some tetras, barbs, and a blue lobster, then finally moved up to a 55 gallon with some angels, guppies, and panda Corydoras. I’d love to see what others have done with their 55 gallon!

Welcome to the forum! How do your angelfish interact with your guppies?  It's a combo I might consider one day 🙂

Thank you! My angels are still babies but for right now they don’t mess with each other. They just do their own things. Super fun to watch!

@BethanyNevitt, we like it just fine.  It's hard like gravel,  but not quite as rounded.  We combined it with crushed coral & ADA soil,  if I'm remembering correctly. I think that was a little bit overkill, though. I wouldn't do both of them together again.

It looks nice after it's gravel vacuumed. I have noticed that my pygmy chain loaches don't dig around in it for food,  so I feed pretty heavy to make sure they eat.

Gotcha. I’m thinking I’m gonna put down the caribsea then a little gravel on top.
