Bettas are awesome so I think you should have a Betta but if you want an odd ball fish I recommend a Pea Puffer.

I have tried switching the sand out for gravel in the past and it completely got rid of the Blue Green Algae. do you think I should try it again?

I love the use of tea and coffee cups in your aquarium they are great caves and would highly recommend them to any one that has bottom dwellers or really any fish. -

HI members of the forum I have been fighting a serious Blue Green Algae problem I am pretty sure it was caused by my substrate (silica sand) please help me find a solution.
