It is an Apistogramma agassizii double red and has shown varying levels of coloration and at times appears quite dark.

I don’t exactly know what killed 2 of them but seeing as the other 2 bodies look fresher I think the ammonia from the first 2killed them

It was swimming around jut fine cling onto to the terra-cotta pots I have in the tank it as also fairly darkly colored but a short period after I added the meds it’s coloration got fairly pale and it looked like it was having trouble holding on to surfaces. Also all the other fish where/are just fine nothing even slightly suspicious

I bought some fish on Monday.one of these. Fish was a hill stream loach i wares until Tuesday to add the meds (I used the aquarium co op med trio) it side to look very good after adding the meds but I hoped that it would bounce back but this morning I found it dead any idea about what happened.

This is a re make so I used every thing that I learned from the first time to make this one. Its a dirted tank btw . On the original there was an alge bloom so I decided to take it down and start over.

When it was all full I looked at it and thought that literally any dwarf chiclid would look awesome in there.

I have one male but he always hides so I can’t get a picture but wen I do see him I have noticed that his dorsal is more elongated and come to a sharp point also it has no yellow coloration
