what kind of fish are in the tank?
No fish yet because I don`t know what a cycled tank really means.
I figured I would start with plants first to see what happens. (Seems like this hobby got really complicated.)

Is it s fish room where you can keep the temp constant or part of the house where other factors can come into play.
Yes, small bedroom.
I keep house at 65 until it gets too cold.

A nagging question I keep asking myself is, put a heater in each tank or just heat the room.
When I had tanks before (5 or 6) I had 2-3 heaters.)
I`m lost on this, maybe someone has done both. 😕

Well, that did work sort of.
Looked like all pics on phone.
I couldn`t make a new folder. (Have to open each pic to see what is.)

Glad I found this, such good information.
I got a little tree a while back and a branch broke off, week or so goes by and I watched a video by The Small Scape, and she used
a product with an accelerator for super glue, so I got some and man did it work fast.
I like the idea of using string or line, but I have to use my Opti Visor to tie fishing line on a hook🙂, just a sign of getting old.

I must say that is a need gadget, does the Python system have a shut off valve. well, I`m being lazy so I looked it up and don`t see a shut off but the squeeze thing to start a siphon would save water.

Thats a lot of information for an old man to understand, 😀 I will try.

Tank water - PH 7.6 - nitrates 10 - 20 ppm - nitrite - 0.5 - 1.0 ppm?
Ammonia - 0 ppm?
