Ms. Fancy Fish

Thank you so much @Cory and @Torrey.. trying really hard not to be discouraged. It sucks because my 6yr old Looooved that fish

This is the only extra tank I have. I did a 100 percent water change and scrubbed the tank and filter well. Added only salt. Until I get the meds.

@Colu @CoryShe died while i was at work. There's no telling how long, so should I get those other fish out and 100 %water change and restart marycyn or what??

I will try and find the meds you mentioned online. Sadly, I am not having any luck locally.

Ok. I can get more... when the first cycle is over, do I do partial water changes until all medication is gone and then start a new cycle? Or just continue to dose for another full round?

I appreciate all the help @Colu and @Cory... I started the marycyn and have been keeping watch the last few days. Now there's something growing right behind her head (not on the wen growth). Could this be the same that was on her belly area?

I was scheduled to do the quarantine trio, @Cory, should I just dose one at a time now or still go with all 3 meds?

Added the extra salt. Came home to find a new irritated area on her belly. 😟

There is currently salt in the tank. But I can up the amount. Currently I only had 1tbsp for every 5 gallons

@CoryHey everyone. Quarantining since 4/8/22. Noticed a small pinkish, isolated area of loose or lifted scales near tail of lemonhead thai oranda. Daily 50% water changes. Levels today: .25 ppm amonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite There is a handful of loose biomedia, a sponge filter and 2 slightly rude ryukin in the 20gallon with te thai oranda. Does this look like illness or injury? *20gallon is only being used for quarantine, not the permanent home.

Swims a bit then drops.

Haven't noticed any rapid breathing. Last water change was yesterday. I do 75% weekly. As far as feeding. I alternate between frozen blood worm, mysis, brine, krill; steamed broccoli or spinach, repashy super gold and super green, and hikari seaweed extreme. During the week they eat 3 times a day. I've slowed that down to once or twice because of the cold temp

PLEASE HELP. My oranda had been slow swimming for a couple weeks, now she spends most of the time laying at the bottom of tank. 55gallon with 3 fancies total. Water parameters are good, water has been a little cold at 67.8. But the other two fancies are swimming around active. When it's time to.eat she still eats. And poops regularly. She has started developing wen this last month, it startedwith these bubble like areas on both gill plates. (Pics below) I have had her almost 2 years. Never had any issues. @Cory please help

So @Cory, can I add the 5th fancy to an already going quarantine? My last step was to add the med trio. OR ,do I just wait to purchase and begin a new quarantine cycle?

Hey there @Cory! so I started keeping fancy goldfish almost a year ago. I currently have a 55 gallon with 3 fancies and 1 new one in quarantine w aquarium salt. As far as filtering,I have a Tidal 55 and a large aquarium co op sponge filter running with extra bio media sitting on it. I am also about to add pothos to this system. My question(s): with the current setup, could I successfully add 1 last fancy goldfish( to make the total 5) and it not be unhealthy for the fish? Also, I have the med trio, but the last time I used it to quarantine a new fish, it didn't make it... so I have been using salt first (currently on day 22) and will dose med trio this last week. Is that too much for a new fish that not showing any signs of illness?
