Does anybody know what kind of algae it looks like? Yea I will try that all my other planted tanks are fine just this tank has been giving me problems. And that algae is just on that one plant not the others

How long does the sale usually last for? The three stores I have been to one store says it runs to the 26 of September one day it ended yesterday and the other had no clue what I was talking about lol.

My lfs store has a good amount of them. I got one with my African cichlids LOL still a little guy right now very cool fish eats algae off rocks mine is half light blue and half black right now.

it has tanken over this plant and I can’t get rid of it. You think it can be saved or do I need to take it out?

Got a 100 gallon with the substrate canister filter heater and stand with a bunch of cichlid hides and Texas holy rock for 100 bucks. Then went back to the guy a couple of weeks later got another 300w heater and a 5 gallon bucket and half of holy rock and more hides for 25 bucks

I actually ended up changing it out little pressure just made a swoosh sound was all.

It’s low pressure kind of like when you shake a coke up and open it.

This doesn’t have all that like a regular CO2 tank and all that it’s a bottle with a powder mixture and a yeast starter just a simple bottle design

Has anybody had experience with this kit its my first time with any experience with adding or having CO2 but is there a way to change the diffuser out while it’s pressured or do I need to let it run out before I can change it? Thanks in advance

I have been using the kit for a couple of weeks now when I purchased the kit I got the “new style” diffuser and I’m currently using it. I was just curious because I can’t find much info that I have seen on those style CO2 systems on changing out the diffuser while they are pressured up.

I lowered the temp yesterday and they seem to be doin the same thing hiding under the frog bit they are eating and chasing food around. They come down from time to time but stay closer to the top.

80 The not gasping just hanging under the frogbit the come down from time to time messing around then go back.

Babies are growing Their in the little breeder box for now while I did a little tank maintenance. The mother had these babies now she is holding again lol.

Se i set up my daughters 10 gallon tank about month and a half ago got it cycled it. Added 3 guppies like a week ago for now starting slow I’ve had guppies in a 20 gallon long years ago never had issues with them but I’m not sure if it’s something up with the tank or just these fish. Do guppies normally stay closer to the top of the water? The ammonia is 0. Nitrites 0 nitrates is like 20 or so. Hob filter and a airstone so I know it has plenty of surface agitation. Thanks in advance.

Yea It’s starting to reduce how much the light gets to the bottom got my grass and other plants I have in the back.

Yea could try that. I fert. once a week but the tank is stocked a bit on the heavy side so the combo of good lights and nutrients just makes it flourish. Currently is has 20 neon tetras, 6 bronze corydoras a blue eye lemon pleco and a ruby tetra that ended up in the bag of neons lol.

I always look on Craigslist and Facebook market place I just recently got a 54 gallon bowfront for 30 bucks of market place from a garage sale had a tiny leak in the silicone on the back but it’s been fixed since then and a 110 for 80bucks off Craigslist.

Could be my timer is set to run about 13 hours a day on my light which I think is a long time but it produces good plant growth in the tank and no algae at all. You could try to do the media bags in the tank with planted substrate like MD fish tanks does I did it in my wife’s 54 bow front. Did the whole tank with one bag.

Yes aquarium coop easy green Just a cheap Amazon aquaneat led light no C02. Yea its fluval stratum 🤣😂 it’s actually the little tissue culture bags they sell at petsmart.

It’s dwarf hair grass Lol yea I know duckweed can be a chore to remove…I was meaning that the wisteria in my tank grows SUPER fast I trim it back and with in no time it take over again. 😆

Month and a half or 2 give or take for the bulk of it.
