CT_
I woke up to find one of my blue dream shrimp dead looking white as a ghost. Was this a failed molt or do they just look like this when they die?
Kirsten
Not sure about failed molt, but all the shrimp I've had who've died of old age / natural causes generally turn white / opaque in their final days. This looks very normal to me.

CT_
Heh. Thanks guys. I lost (she dropped) my first shrimp eggs, but I'm sure I'll get babies eventually to replenish the numbers. In theory I still have a dozen or so. I was just wondering if there was anything I could have done better. Gh is 6-7 not sure how much of that is calcium in worried about molting. What's the name of that calcium+spirulina shrimp food block? Can it hurt to add one of those? Edited March 24, 2021 by CT_
