Garren
Trying to see if any one has some ideas on how to rise a fluval 3.0 light higher above my my rimmed tank. I don't want to hang it but would like a riser to get it a few more inches above the tank. Please give some suggestions that I may try.
johnjohnjohn87
I don’t think they make risers for the 3.0, but I just raised mine about 5-6 inches this weekend! Makes a pretty substantial difference and I’ll be able to elevate the rear of the tank and have light there. I ended up going to the hardware store and ceiling mounting it. Took a bit longer then expected but I am really happy with the results. Hopefully PAR at the bottom of the tank won’t take too much of a hit, but time will tell. Good luck!
Coronal Mass Ejection Carl
There are probably a bunch of 3D printed risers out there.

I tried looking for some on a few sites but did not have any luck. Even looked for other manufacturer light riser to see if they will work. If you find some please let me know.
