HomerJay
Hello, I live in upstate NY and I am interested in buying some Multifasciatus cichlids ( Multies ). Does anyone know where i can find them? Thanks
FrozenFins
those cichlids are fairly popular in the aquarium hobby, I would try your local fish store, and see if they can't order any in for you, however I found an ad on aquabid.com for some multis. RyanR
I just got some last night from an LFS, but they were hard to find. We had to drive a little over an hour to get them. I have been actively looking for them for about a month. Before that, I was prepared to order them online and even then they were not easy to find. I've had multiple people tell me they are hard to find because even though they can be prolific breeders, they grow slow.
mynameisnobody
@HomerJay try sandcitycichlids, they have some seriously impressive stock. I already have Multie’s, but if I was in the market for some, I wouldn’t hesitate. PS Multies are tremendous. Out of 6 aquariums, it’s my fave, however my rainbows are a super close second. Good luck dude
