Chemipure in 90gal

So I’m gonna use an 11oz chemipure green in my 90gal tank but apparently it’s only for treating tanks up to 75g. Does the 15gal really make much of a difference or do I have to buy another one? I’d rather not but if I have to I will. Thanks

Honestly, if it were me, my options would be I use it to the manufacturers directions or I save the money and don’t use it at all. Not sure what the answer is because it depends solely on what you’re trying to do. That’s just my experience.

Let’s start with why are you using it what are you trying to improve?

I think it would work fine. You might pack some filter floss around it to help push water through it. With the smaller size it will probably be used up quicker. I use it in my big tank. It does a good job of keeping organics down. I know that’s what you’re worried about with the discus.

Not really trying to improve anything necessarily but I just want good water clarity

I suspect it will work fine for that purpose a little lower amount won’t hurt I think given all the other variables and given the amount of water changes you’ll be doing it won’t have to much to contend with
