Josh Giro
I got four Neocaridina Shrimp about three days ago. As soon as I put them in my tank, they went into hiding, and for a couple days I thought it was normal until I looked around for them and I saw one laying on the sand looking dead. I don’t know much about moulting, but would I be able to see their eyes and whiskers in the moult or will the translucent body take those with them? I saw online that they’ll turn pinkish if they’re dead, but this one was blue. Also, I haven’t seen any of the others, but did find an actual translucent body. I’m just confused on what to do??? Josh Giro
So, update.. One of the Neocaridina was dead, and I couldn’t find the other three for the life of me without ripping my whole tank apart. I got 3 more today and I drip acclimated them this time. They seem to be doing better already! I’m just unsure of the genders. I think the red and orange are male and the yellow one possibly female?
