justanothernerm
My quarantine set-up is the basic 10 tank set up with sponge filter with a clump of Java fern. I am setting up a fan tailed goldfish tank, I thought I would buy them all together but because I wanted colors I wanted and availablely at my local store is limited I will be buying them at different times. Can I use my normal quarantine tank for 1 goldfish at a time? Will I need to change the water everyday. They are very young at my store
Whitecloud09
If one at a time, it should be fine. Here is a article on a QT tank and goldfish. https://www.csh.rit.edu/~tonyl/goldfish/testarea/hospital.htm#:~:text=A ten gallon tank will, oxygen out of the water. 1

Yes but if you have to treat a fish for illness for example parasites, or ich you would need to sterilize the aquarium prior to quarantine for a new fish. 3
