Bolivian ram sexing

Is this ram male or female? Also is it a bolivian because it does have blue specks but not like a German blue ram does.

That does not look my Bolivian rams, though my experience is only a few months. The blue patches are vertical, not lines that run horizontally across the eye. Red on the fins.

Here is what one of mine look like. More white/off-white, with more yellow when breeding.

How long has it been with you? Maybe it is stressed, so, you cannot see its true colors yet.

It has been with me for over eight months but the fish store had it in a smaller tetra tank and I pointed it out their shipper accidentally shipped it with tetras. It was very tiny when I got it so I never knew what type of ram it was

I wonder if it is s German gold ram.

I will look into it. When it was younger I thought for sure it was a baby bolivian but now I don't know.

Definitely not a Bolivian Ram but a ram species possibly a Mikrogeophagus Ramirez  German Ram. Looks female from color of belly.
