Vedrick
Is this ram male or female? Also is it a bolivian because it does have blue specks but not like a German blue ram does.
HelplessNewbie
That does not look my Bolivian rams, though my experience is only a few months. The blue patches are vertical, not lines that run horizontally across the eye. Red on the fins. Here is what one of mine look like. More white/off-white, with more yellow when breeding. Here is Peachy, who doesn't have a mate and I am only guessing is female:
HelplessNewbie
How long has it been with you? Maybe it is stressed, so, you cannot see its true colors yet. Here is what my Bolivians looked like newly arrived: Edited June 22 by HelplessNewbie
Vedrick
It has been with me for over eight months but the fish store had it in a smaller tetra tank and I pointed it out their shipper accidentally shipped it with tetras. It was very tiny when I got it so I never knew what type of ram it was

Vedrick
I will look into it. When it was younger I thought for sure it was a baby bolivian but now I don't know.

Definitely not a Bolivian Ram but a ram species possibly a Mikrogeophagus Ramirez German Ram. Looks female from color of belly.
