Alex073
Im going to build a similar fry station like Deans. And just wondering about the spray paint. Can I use whatever paint ? Or are some specific requirements? Thinking of there is some paints that are poisonous to the fish ?
Meep556
I’m not sure of what Dean did. But I use rusto and krylon to paint the back of my tanks black.
clownbaby
Any paint should be fine to paint on the back of the glass. I used walmart acrylic because I am cheap, but spray paint would work. Probably any spray paint isn't great for fish, so I would say cover the inside of the tank with plastic tarp / plastic bags and tape before applying spray paint to prevent any residue or spray from touching the inside of the tank! johnnyxxl
Spray paint is fine after it's cured. People use it to make water proof stuff. It won't leach after it's cured for a few days. If it's outside the tank as soon as no smell all good.
Sacah
If it's for anything inside the tank, as long as it's enamel spray paint, you'd be ok. Acrylic spray paint doesn't like moisture, it will peel in water.
