Cjbear087
Hi there so one of my bladder snails (I know they are a pest but I have grown attached to this specific one) has retracted all the way into his shell and hasn’t moved for a few days. I don’t think he is dead however as he doesn’t smell at all and I’ve heard dead snails reek. I want to leave him in there for a few more days to see if he will eventually move but if he is dead and is decaying as we speak we he cause an ammonia spike in my tank? It’s a 15 gallon. Thanks in advance.
Lennie
No. A single bladder snail in an established tank would do basically no off parameter reading, it is tiny Dw
Tony s
Not enough biomass there to cause a spike
