Nate710 Posted May 8 Share Posted May 8 While feeding this morning, I noticed my electric blue acaras eyes looked to be a bit bigger than normal. jwcarlson Posted May 8 Share Posted May 8 I *think* those are just blue acaras, but I'm not an acara expert. I don't think it's pop eye, some fish have eyes that are naturally out pretty far from their faces. I'd keep an eye on it though. Looking particularly for discoloration (or cloudiness) in the eye or the area where the eye comes out from the fish. That will usually swell and get lighter in color.
