osint
My guppy cobra has been really passive since yesterday, often hiding by the filter of my tank. Today, he came out, and I saw this weird object that looks like it's stuck in his anus. I don't know if it's an object or part of the fish's body, but I'm worried it's what's altering his behavior. Any suggestions or ideas?
Cinnebuns
Might be Columnaris or another type of worm. Also looks possibly like a prolapse but I'm not sure. @Colu would know more than me. Edited May 7 by Cinnebuns
osint
I've been looking at it for a while and I think one of his fins got messed up. He is having a hard time swimming. I added some salt and turned the lights off. Any other suggestions?
Colu
That looks like a prolapse to me I would do epsom salt baths 1 table spoon for 1 gallon for no more than 15 minutes for 5 days as Epsom salt acts as a muscle relaxant to help your fish reabsorb the prolapse @osint
