knee
Do you have driftwood in the tank?
Misterpotato
Yup i have driftwood i tot it could be tannins but the water was clearer yesterday until i added prime and woke up this morning to this. Could prime interfere with the driftwood causing it to release tannins

What kind of wood do you have in your tank?
Misterpotato
Malaysian driftwood and not too sure about the branches one
AllFishNoBrakes
I would assume the driftwood is responsible for the tannins. Water changes and/or carbon will reduce tannins. Personally, I love tannins and have a couple blackwater tanks. I know they’re not for everyone, though.

johnnyxxl
My tank is dark and it's had the driftwood for more than a month, so tannins can take a while carbon can remove some of the color and the benefits of the tannins.
