Ramonmarket Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 Help please. One of my daughter’s orandas had a fungus infection a month ago. It went away with Maracyn Oxy. now the fish has this open wound that started with a missing scale from where the fungus was. It wasn’t bad. Until now. We do weekly water changes. It stays In. A 75 gallon with a oranda a black more and 2 common goldfish. Colu Posted March 31 Share Posted March 31 Looks like an abscess that's ruptured what what I would do is keep stable water parameters add a small amount of aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 5 gallons the salt will aid Gill function and add essential electrolytes just remember to only put back in what you take out so if you do a 5 gallon water change put 1 table spoon of aquarium salt back in as salt only removed though water changes and do course of maracyn2 to help prevent any secondary bacterial infections add an extra air stone while treating @Ramonmarket Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
