Dave Spangler
Hi all, I will introduce my self after I get going on my Otocinclus issue. In the attached photo you can see the issue. This Oto is one of five, and the only one with the issue. It's not fungus, might be a parasite?????? The fish is isolated. Any help would be appreciated. Colu
Could be a cancerous or benign growth bacterial infections can cause growth if it's not got a fuzzy appearance I would do a course of a broad spectrum maracyn2 active ingredient minocycline also has anti-inflammatory properties given an update after 5 days if your seeing no improvement@Dave Spangler Edited March 22 by Colu
Dave Spangler
Here is a update..... Prior to moving the Oto to a quarantine tank I gently scraped the bulbous mass, it moved but seemed firm. So in he went to the quarantine tank with a small amount of sea salt. The next morning the mass was gone. Maybe parasite???¿? Another day has passed, the fish is doing well and eating Zucchini. With no hurry it can stay put for a couple of weeks. Thanks, DS
