Cheryl P.
Greetings fellow nerms! We will be vising the San Diego/Los Angeles area March 15-21 and I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations on fish stores, aquariums, events going on, ect. We're also into reptiles so if you have recommendations for them as well, that would be great! Edited February 19 by Cheryl P.
Gannon
I only went very briefly several years ago. I liked the scripps aquarium/birch aquarium. Also I went to La Jolla beach if I remember the name right and with a snorkel mask and some thermal clothes I was able to go out early in the morning on my own and see leopard sharks, stingrays, kelp bass, and other amazing things. I 100% recommend. Its also very shallow for a long ways and there are tour type programs if you want to do it with other people, but you very much don't have to.
